Porsche Design PTR Rattrapante Chronograph; Titanium, Ref 6613.10

This relatively rare Porsche Design PTR Rattrapante (split seconds) Chronograph, ref. 6613.12 is a remarkable example of the distinctive design, precision engineering and flawless manufacturing one expects from Porsche Design.  The case is polished titanium and the bracelet is brushed titanium.  It also comes with a brown Porsche Design alligator strap and a black NATO strap so that with a spring bar tool and a few minutes you can switch it up and feel like you have a new watch every once in a while.  The automatic movement is a Valjoux 7750 that has been modified with a specialized Rattrapante (split seconds) module and a rotor designed to look like a Porsche wheel, which is visible through the exhibition back case.  The 42mm case is well balanced with two pushers on the right along with the crown as is typical with most chronographs and there is a third pusher on the top left to activate the rattrapante complication.  The dial is black with white markings, white luminous hands and titanium edged luminous hour markers.  The date is located at three o’clock and registers for elapsed time are located at six, nine and twelve o’clock.  A tachymeter is located around the inner bezel.
